About this day nursery

A1 Fun Club is a prominent childcare provider located in the heart of Newmarket, dedicated to offering exceptional, child-led learning experiences within a secure and nurturing environment. The nursery strives to provide a warm, stimulating atmosphere where children can explore and develop through a wide array of facilities and opportunities.

Catering to children aged 1-4 years at its town centre nursery base, A1 Fun Club also extends its services to primary-aged children through a wrap-around care programme at Paddocks Primary School, which includes breakfast and holiday clubs. A distinguishing feature of the club is its commitment to high staff-to-child ratios, surpassing OFSTED requirements, and a team of permanent, highly qualified, and experienced staff, many of whom are parents themselves.

The club actively encourages continuous professional development for its staff to ensure they remain at the forefront of childcare techniques and ideas. A1 Fun Club is OFSTED registered and is proactive in offering various early years funding options, including 15 and 30 hours for eligible children, with plans to expand 30-hour provision to children from one year old starting September 2025.
