Both our children have attended Stroud Green Nursery and we couldn’t be happier with the care they have received. The staff are extremely knowledgeable about child development, kind and caring. They have a great range of activities and learning experiences. The gardens for each room are lovely too.

Amazing nursery. The eldest room has a teacher who develops weekly curriculum to build the children’s phonics and maths skills. The nursery is attached to the primary school, which has wonderful benefits to it - Spanish week, Science week, beach week. I have also been impressed by the amount of communication we receive - it helps me understand what my daughter is learning and helps her open up about what happens at school. Have been so impressed!

We’ve been very pleased with Stroud Green Nursery. Our son entered Butterflies at 3.5 years old. All staff are incredibly caring, and my son has built a bond and relationship with a few specific staff who know my son's personality, preferences, development. The nursery benefits from having a certified teacher so there is more of a curriculum than you will see at other 'care only' nurseries. Book of the weeks, and topics cover a diverse range of topics, including learning about different skin tones, family makeups, celebrating different cultures and beliefs (Diwali, Eid, Lunar New Year), all of which was important to us. In addition, the kids start phonics and writing which I know peer parents at other nurseries have envied. We truly appreciate how the team fosters kindness, empathy, and awareness in such a fun and nurturing environment. It's lovely to walk around the neighborhood and hear my son shout hello to staff and other kids in his class - good sense of community. We'd like more pictures of him regularly, he's our first born after all, but this is better preparing us for primary school.

I love this nursery and the school attached to it. It's worth putting your name down early particularly for the younger rooms, but my kids have thrived here. Their days are so rich in experience, they seem really well set up to thoughtfully and excitedly explore the world and there is a real culture of kindness and encouragement. The butterflies room (the oldest one) is a brilliant springboard to reception. Couldn't recommend it more.

My daughter goes here and loves it, and I hear from some other parents that they prefer it to some of the other nurseries nearby. The staff are really friendly and helpful, they organise a lot of fun events for the kids and the parents and they seem good at encouraging learning and socialising.
