Inclusion & environment
All children make rapid progress, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). Support for children with SEND is a real strength. A special educational needs coordinator spoke to the inspector about how they support children with SEND.
Children benefit from daily fresh air and exercise. They practise their physical skills, such as in running, jumping, balancing, scooting and climbing.
I've been meaning to write this for a while, and am finally getting around to it! Our daughter attended Sunny Meadows from September 2021, to July 2024. I cannot speak highly enough of everyone and everything there. The rooms are well set-up for all kinds of activities, and the staff are all kind, gentle and nurturing. You get regular progress reports on your child's development, as they progress through the stages. It is so much more than "just childcare," but still done with tremendous levels of care. How sad the staff were to be saying goodbye to the children at their leaving party, speaks volumes about how much these children matter to them, and how invested they are. Our daughter has transitioned really well into school, in no small part to how she has been nurtured at Sunny Meadows. Thank you, all of you! :)
Read on GoogleBrilliant term here highly recommend friendly, fun and lots of learning surroundings..the place to be.. we moved here after having our 1yr old at Highgate day nursery which we found run down and an incubator for numerous virus’s each week due to poor standards and up keep of the staff training, poor and rude management and environment. In our short time our child has come on fantastically in there speech development and basic playful learning since moving to sunny meadows. It’s a bit of a waiting list but well worth the wait as a comparison visit will instantly show anyone who tours the centre. Well done and keep it up.
Read on GoogleA beautiful nursery, with kind lovely staff. My child attended for 4 years and never had an issue with the nursery. I feel words cannot justify how brilliant this nursery is. They make the hard decision of leaving your child in someone elses care much easier, as they care for your child like they would of their own. Amazing and can't thank them enough for all they have done.
Read on GoogleLovely nursery, very friendly staff. My son has attended from 8 months old and he loves it. He's always excited to go to nursery. He has an dairy allergy and the nursery accommodate this without issue. 5 star!
