About this day nursery

Sunrise Day Nursery at Harrietsham operates from a charming, refurbished old station master's house, welcoming up to 36 children since September 2011. The nursery prides itself on offering modern facilities while maintaining a comforting 'home-from-home' atmosphere.

The setting is thoughtfully arranged across two floors, with a dedicated baby room downstairs catering to up to 6 infants aged 6 months to 2 years. Upstairs, three rooms are designed for 2-3 year olds, and a brand-new mobile classroom serves as a preschool room for up to 10 children aged 3 and above, conveniently located next to the outdoor play area.

The nursery boasts extensive outdoor space, including paved and artificial grass areas suitable for all-weather play for different age groups. Furthermore, direct access to a public footpath allows for local exploration.

Security is a priority, with parent-allocated parking, a CCTV entry system, and site-wide CCTV cameras. Meals are a key focus, with healthy, balanced, and nutritionally analysed lunches provided by Zebedees, known for their fresh ingredients appealing to young children.

Snacks and teas are prepared in-house, and weekly menus are shared with parents each term. The Harrietsham nursery is managed by Assistant Nursery Director Nicola Springett, supported by Assistant Managers Emma Clark and Sarah Bryan, working closely with the Langley setting's management team to ensure consistent quality and adherence to the Sunrise ethos.
