Sunshine Corner Pre-School is committed to fostering a supportive and engaging environment for its young learners, utilising a keyworker system to support their development and ensure a smooth settling-in process. They document each child's learning journey through an online journal, incorporating a variety of activities designed to promote holistic child development.

Staff work closely with parents to swiftly identify any children who may need additional intervention, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities. Staff have a deep knowledge of children's unique personalities and needs, and inclusiveness is at the centre of their practice. Any additional funding received for children is used wisely to help keep children safe and support their learning.

Outdoor space

Children show their delight as they explore the outdoors in the fresh air. They practise their larger physical skills, for example, pushing themselves on wheeled toys or climbing and sliding down apparatus. Staff talk to children about keeping safe, such as about road safety when they go out into the community or to the nursery garden.
