About this day nursery

SWAP (Support Which Achieves Progress) is a social enterprise founded in 2021 by Keith St Ange and Katie Panagarry, both from Yorkshire. With over 30 years of combined experience in various youth-focused environments, including Youth Work, Residential Care Homes, Young Offenders Institutes, and SEND education settings, Keith and Katie are dedicated to empowering young people.

SWAP aims to inspire courage, resilience, and determination, providing young individuals with the knowledge and confidence to make positive and informed choices that can transform their lives. They offer bespoke programs designed to support and encourage young people, focusing on re-engagement with education, behaviour management, growth mindset, and the development of life skills.

Through a holistic and nurturing approach, SWAP provides tailored interventions that support young people into work experience and employment, as well as helping them thrive in their own environments. SWAP also offers an outreach program that includes life skills, mental wellbeing, anger management, social skills, confidence building, drawing and talking therapy, outdoor education, campfire cooking, and various sports and creative media.

The organization has its own private woodland for bushcraft skills and outdoor campfire cooking. Additionally, SWAP is working towards becoming a licensed organization for the Duke of Edinburgh award and has a therapy dog named Enzo.

Our ethos
