TAD Children's Day Nursery in Middlesbrough provides all-year care for children aged from birth to eight years. At its inspection in July 2024, Ofsted rated the day nursery as Good. The inspector reported that children arrive happy and eager, welcomed by friendly staff who plan enjoyable experiences. Staff establish secure relationships with children and positive partnerships with parents, keeping them informed about their child's progress. The report noted that there is an ethos of mutual respect, and staff encourage children to develop independence with their self-care needs.

According to Ofsted, the nursery implements a strong curriculum for communication and language, which is tailored to individual needs. Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities receive very good support, with staff working alongside external professionals to help them make good progress. To improve, the inspector suggested supporting children to better share their ideas during conversations and extending opportunities for them to represent their own artistic ideas during planned activities.

TAD Centre Children’s Day Nursery employs a friendly, professional, committed and passionate team, trained in all key areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and its aim is focused on providing quality outstanding childcare. Staff focus on building strong relationships with both parents and their children and our key person system makes sure that activities are designed to be fun and stimulating ensuring the individual children’s learning needs are catered for. Our mission is to give the children in our care the very best possible start in life.

Fantastic nursery! Lovely staff and my daughter absolutely loves it here. The staff put so much care and attention into engaging the little ones and as a result the kids are always happy. Thank you so much for everything you do.
