Children thrive in a calm, purposeful, and inviting environment, making excellent progress due to a carefully planned curriculum that is tailored to individual needs. The setting places a strong emphasis on language and communication acquisition, working closely with a speech and language therapist from the Community Hub and encouraging a love of reading through initiatives like borrowing books and library visits.
Bright Stars Nursery excels in supporting children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), identifying delays early and implementing swift interventions. Staff work closely with external agencies and parents, ensuring every child flourishes.
The nursery also fosters independence, with children confidently accessing both the wonderfully resourced indoor and outdoor environments. Staff expertly position themselves to ensure constant supervision as children move freely between areas.
Parents speak highly of the dedicated staff and the significant progress their children make, particularly in speech and language development.

Inclusion & environment

Practitioners make full use of having a speech and language therapist as part of the Community Hub, using this resource well to seek support for children and families.
Children confidently access the indoor and outdoor environments, both of which are wonderfully resourced to nurture and develop curiosity. As children move confidently between the indoor and outdoor areas, staff are observed to change their location in such a way as to ensure that all children can be seen at all times.
