They also provide practical services such as a Breakfast Club starting at 7:30 am with a nutritious meal, an After School Club that includes transportation and light refreshments, and a Holiday Club with diverse activities and educational outings.

Children love playing outside. They are skilled at avoiding obstacles when using a range of ride-on vehicles. The inspector observed the quality of education being provided, indoors and outdoors, and assessed the impact that this was having on children's learning.

Minnows Children's Day Nursery registered in 2007 and is part of the Nunthorpe Nurseries Group chain in Middlesbrough. The nursery opens Monday to Friday, all year round, from 7.30am until 6pm, except for public holidays. It provides funded early education for two-, three- and four-year-old children. The nursery employs eight members of childcare staff: one with a level 5 qualification, six with level 3, and one with level 2.
