Teddy Bear Nursery, which re-registered in 2023, provides care and education for children aged 0-2 years, operating all year round for 51 weeks, from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm. The nursery was rated as Good by Ofsted on its latest inspection on 23 June 2023.
Children are warmly greeted by friendly staff, fostering a sense of happiness and security. Each child benefits from a dedicated key person who understands their personal care needs and routines, helping them to settle quickly and form strong bonds.
Staff across the nursery provide genuine affection, creating a supportive environment where children feel content and valued. The curriculum at Teddy Bear Nursery is ambitious and appropriate, with staff knowledgeable about early childhood development and accurately assessing children's progress in prime areas of learning.
Communication and language skills are actively supported both indoors and outdoors using props and objects to introduce new words. Opportunities for physical development are well-sequenced, with tailored activities for different age groups, including tummy time for the youngest babies and challenging physical play for older ones.
Older babies also engage in rich, real-life learning experiences through regular outings to places like the library, local pet home, and supermarket, broadening their understanding of the community. Meals provided are balanced, healthy, and nourishing, with staff expertly managing weaning stages.
This nursery works in close partnership with its branch across the road, with two-year-olds transitioning there to continue their education.

My son went here over 10 years ago all the staff are Amazing and caring he was very well looked after that my newborn will be attending this nursery again in April for the same love and care

The nursery re-registered in 2023 and was originally established in 2006. It is situated in Rochdale and provides care and education for children from birth to two years. The nursery works in direct partnership with its partner branch situated across the road, with two-year-olds moving to the partner branch to continue their education. The nursery employs seven members of staff, four of whom hold appropriate qualifications at level 3 and above. It is open for 51 weeks of the year, from 7.30am to 6pm.
