Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

Most children who attend the setting have special educational needs/and or disabilities (SEND). Staff have a wealth of experience of working with children with SEND. The support in place for children with SEND is excellent. The setting leaves no stone unturned in its pursuit to removing barriers to learning. It works closely with the local authority, parents and external professionals to ensure that no child is left behind in their learning. Children with SEND flourish. They leave the setting with the required skills to be ready for school.

Outdoor space

Children have daily access to an outdoor play area. However, the organisation of the outdoor play area does not support children's large-muscle development. This means that children do not get to consistently test out their physical endurance and strength.

My daughter has joined in June 2023. She has gone through some regressions due the fact of lack of support and understanding her needs by the previous nursery. After a year, my daughter confidence been restored. She still of course non verbal but it’s coming out some songs, little words (which wasn’t happening in the previous nursery). She is much aware of the world (although of course there isn’t a magic portion in a year and she till needs to continue to work on), she is much more independent, willing to try new things and engage with adults much better than before. The staff is very supportive, helpful, well trained in children needs, friendly and caring. They have their own speech and language therapist (Grace), which is fantastic, very outstanding in recognise children triggers and working only along their interests (which is absolutely necessary). The management team is also great, always willing to help no matter the situation. Always work with honesty, transparency and humbleness. Generally speaking, I felt this was a family business which my family belonged to and I can’t thank them enough for all the work they’ve done. We leaving in September for a big change but definitely back over the holidays and definitely recommended to any family that would need a safe place for their children. Thank you

My girls started to attend to this nursery since 2nd October 2023, and since then I can only say "Thank You So Much" , I was worried with the change but after 3/4 days my girls was more happy, open to know more and much better in their development skills. This Magnificent team help me a lot and guaranteed that my girls have a correct academic progress. Even with their needs, they have been improving day by day. All the hard work that this team have every day with my girls, I only can appreciate from the deeper of my heart. I recommend 10000 times, to friends and family to give their children's to all of you. God bless you all always. Xxx Maria Balde
