Inclusion & environment
The special educational needs coordinator (SENCo) is extremely passionate and knowledgeable. She works well alongside children, parents, and other professionals to ensure that children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) receive the specialist help they require. The SENCo supports staff to plan activities and set and review targets for children. This process is successful at ensuring that children with SEND continue to flourish in their development.
Children's physical development is given high priority. Children thoroughly enjoy the time they spend outdoors. They access a variety of equipment to enhance their physical skills. For example, they roll hoops and manoeuvre a see-saw.
DONT DELAY SIGNING YOUR CHILD UP TO THIS NURSERY! I really debated changing my sons nursery to tern valley because I wasn't sure 6 months was worth it for a very short time because he's starting school in September, but this was the BEST decision I made wish he'd been there longer and will be really sad when he leaves. They are always so kind and caring, he has developed so so much in his short time here. He's made so many friends and lots of happy memories. They have been fantastic and I am truly grateful for everything they've done for me and my son.
Read on GoogleNice nursery but kids do not go outside as much as advertised. Sent son for 6 months when he was 18 months old and over the winter months they can’t use the outdoor play area that’s turfed as either frozen or too wet etc and kids end up inside all day! Therefore more likely to get ill and only attended 50% of time due to illness.
Read on GoogleWonderful nursery with excellent facilities for a range of kids. Flexible options in terms of when kids can go and the staff are brilliant. Our little boy jumps out of our arms to see the likes of Courtney and Hannah now which is comforting. Lots of updates and feedback & the team seem to really care. Would definitely recommend. Update: August 2024 and this review remains the same. Fabulous place and fabulous staff
