As a registered charity, Thames Pre-school welcomes children aged 2 until they start school, offering various funded sessions and maintaining a strong connection with families through a detailed fees and funding policy.

Our caring and experienced team aims to expand on the opportunities and experiences that each child has, whilst providing a secure and supportive environment where they can grow emotionally, socially and creatively. We aim to guide all of the children to explore, understand and enjoy the world around them, developing new skills and forming close relationships with their peers, and within their wider community.

What it's like

Children are happy and clearly enjoy attending the pre-school. Staff prioritise children's well-being and build positive relationships with families. The key-person system is effective, helping children to settle quickly. Staff encourage children to express their feelings and emotions, for example, by using stones with various emotions on.

Pricing & funding

Charges are billed hourly for any extra or unfunded hours, with a separate flat fee for early morning starts. Hot lunches are charged per meal with an additional VAT fee.
