Both of my children attend The Ark. We have actually even relocated further away from the nursery however I won’t change as I know & trust the staff here. My daughter always comes home excited to tell me about her day and tells me about the staff members (down to who has their nails painted that day!) and always has lovely positive things to say. My son (although still young), enjoys his time here - I know this as he never has an issue at handover and updates & pictures on the app show him grinning away. Susie, the current manager, has been excellent, any questions or queries I’ve had have always been answered or resolved professionally and promptly. Susie (or other staff members) are normally in the office at reception and are always smiling & say hello. I really love the genuine care & love for the children the staff members clearly have, it’s the main reason why I won’t send my children anywhere else despite the 40 minute round trip!

A warm and welcoming environment for children and parents alike. I have a worry-free day knowing that my son is in the safe and nurturing environment at The Ark Nursery. As my son is now in pre-school he has been looked after in every room of the nursery and I’ve gotten to know most of the staff. Without exception all of the staff members are lovely and I feel that they genuinely care for my son and the other children. The manager is friendly, warm-hearted and professional. Even though it’s a great nursery, she evidently strives to continually improve the nursery and sends well thought out communications to parents. Her team all seem to have a smile on their face and I’ve seen many of them work together collaboratively in the office and in the play and learning rooms. The team also put a lot of effort into special days where the nursery children explore a fun, sporty or festive theme. All of the nominated key persons and room staff are all wonderful from my experience and the room environment is well thought out and well stocked with toys and learning materials. My child’s current key person first helped look after my son in the baby room when she was an apprentice, and it is really nice to see that the nursery has supported in her development and training. The support staff are also excellent; the nursery always is well kept and clean, the food goes down well with my child (it’s hard not to get food envy at what the kiddies get to eat!) Children are encouraged and celebrated. Drawings and artwork frequently comes home and the nursery staff are great at making my child feel proud of his imaginative drawings and paintings. Special moments are captured as “Wow moments” in the app – with a photo/short video and description, which is lovely to see. I really enjoy seeing those and appreciate the time taken to share them. If I could change one aspect of the nursery, it would be that there was more outside grounds. To mitigate this, the nursery makes very good use of the outside space they do have and take the children (with parental consent) for outside trips around our lovely village. The nursery is very conveniently located in Pontesbury adjacent to the Co-Op and a few mins drive from the village schools so that has helped with the school/nursery run in the morning. With the staff being so warm and friendly, it will be a genuinely sad day when I no longer do the drop-offs and pick-ups at nursery. Hopefully they’ll know that I’ll be forever grateful that they helped encourage and nurture my son in his early years of learning. A big * THANK YOU * to all at the nursery.

Terrible manager. After have some serious problems with a staff member bullying not just our child but others too we were told the problem was with our two year old. After multiple meetings with her telling us nothing was happening even though multiple staff members told us it’s was happening. Our child was just moved into the next room. Unfortunately we decided to move all our children to another nursery. Most staff are amazing just let down by a select few.

Great nursery our son attends, friendly approachable staff. Always supporting his learning and development and keep us up to date via the online app for parents. Management always happy to help and answer any questions needed.

Went for a look at the nursery. Manager and staff so friendly. It was like a home from home. Can't wait for my little one to start
