The curriculum effectively supports children's development, from identifying colours and following instructions for younger children to exploring letters, sounds, and confidently identifying words for older children, thus building skills essential for future reading. The manager maintains robust systems for identifying and supporting children who may be at risk of falling behind, collaborating with external professionals to create targeted plans and remove learning barriers.
The outdoor learning environment involves a garden for fresh air and exercise, complemented by sports sessions that enhance physical development and emotional well-being. Parents consistently praise the staff as 'kind', 'nurturing', and supportive, not only for the children but for the parents too.
Songs and music are integral to the daily routine, with the manager often playing the piano for nursery rhymes and actions, enriching communication and language skills, and understanding of rhythm.
