Outdoor space

Children benefit from lots of fresh air and physical exercise, exploring the natural environment and learning how to keep themselves safe. Outdoors, toddlers confidently negotiate steep slopes and independently climb steps to the top of a wooden climbing frame, challenging their physical ability and skills well. During outdoor learning sessions, children show perseverance and pride in their achievements, learning to make a large den with rope and tarpaulin.
