The Cabin Childcare Centre, with locations across Plymouth including Honicknowle, Barne Barton, and Wolseley Road areas, offers high-quality childcare and early years education for children aged 18 months to 5 years. They provide both long and short day sessions, as well as holiday care for all children.

Their curriculum is aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and is personalised to the individual needs of each child, focusing on intent, implementation, and impact. The centres strongly believe in learning through play within a child-initiated, friendly environment, supported by appropriately qualified adults.

What it's like

Children settle quickly and are keen to explore the stimulating learning environment. Staff interact positively with children, showing them warmth and kindness. Children respond affectionately and snuggle up with staff in a blanket as they share stories together, feeling comfort and a sense of security.

Pricing & funding

Charges are based on funded sessions which are subject to an additional consumable fee per session to cover extra costs. This fee policy is effective from January 2026.
