The IDEAL Alliance is a collaborative educational partnership, now in its fourth year, founded on the principle of supporting young people to achieve their best. The Alliance measures its success by the positive impact it has on each pupil's life, striving for high standards that have resulted in improved attainment and high-quality interactions across its member schools and settings.

Ham Drive Nursery School & Day Care is one of the partners within this Alliance, alongside others such as Yealmpstone Farm Primary School, Plym Bridge Nursery School & Day Care, Early Years Communication & Language Support Team, Early Years Southwest Stronger Practice Hub, and Bright Stars Nursery. The Alliance is committed to values of inclusion, diversity, equity, achievement, and leadership, aiming to foster a supportive and enriching environment for all children within its network.

The headquarters are located at Yealmpstone Farm Primary School in Plympton.
