How they support every child

SEND provision

All children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), make good progress as adults want them to succeed. Children with SEND make very good progress, and robust systems are in place to ensure these children have the right support to help them succeed. The special educational needs coordinator (SENDCo) works very effectively in partnership with outside agencies and parents to ensure all children with SEND are supported well, collectively setting targets and working together to support each child.

Outdoor space

Pre-school children explore water in the garden to develop their small-muscle skills to help their emergent writing skills. Toddlers willingly have a go at putting on wellington boots to go outside. Toddlers explore two-dimensional shapes in the garden, learning the names for them, and attempt to draw them. Pre-school children work together to set up a reading den outside, carefully selecting and using the resources.

Both my children loved the ARK and it helped them grow massively. Not a single member of staff lets that place down, they are all fantastic. Would definitely recommend sending your children here.

The Children's Ark are amazing. Not only for our daughter, but for us as parents too. She loves all the staff there, she would go every day if she could. The team have been fantastic in supporting us with anything and everything, they exceed expectations every single day. Its a family away from home, they couldn't do more for our family. Staff are incredibly supportive to our little girl and rhey all get out and about regularly, they are an integral part of our community.

Fantastic nursery the staff love thier jobs and it definitely shows. My son loves going to nursery he has formed some lovely friendships and a great bond with his teachers and is always excited to go. The teachers are always running around with the children taking them on walks to the local park or around the local area, they put 110% into making sure that each child is happy and having a fantastic experience and I couldn't recommend this nursery highly enough 😀
