Inclusion & environment
Staff provide exceptional support for children who have identified special needs and/or disabilities and those who need additional help. They seek professional advice and specialist training, draw up carefully considered individual plans, and make highly effective use of strategies such as signing and visual cards to help children communicate.
Babies relish playing outside, choosing whether to look at books with a member of staff, confidently using the slide or spraying the plants they are growing. The nursery's golden values are displayed throughout the setting, including outdoors, so that staff can refer children back to them.
If your child has additional needs, avoid this nursery. They ended my 4-year-old’s placement, citing staff “well-being,” despite knowing our situation and having 1:1 agency support in place. Their lack of collaboration led to the agency leaving, and delays in applying for his EHCP have left him without a school placement. Extremely disappointing experience.
Read on GoogleOur little boy has been here since he was 11 months old. He has thrived, grown in confidence and meeting developmental milestones. All staff are kind, empathetic and go the extra mile. They take an interest in his likes and create activities around them (along with those of the other children). They have also been quick to put in some intervention to support his speech which has also been fantastic.
