The Cornerstone Day Nursery and Preschool in Woodbridge offers care for children from birth to four years. It is open Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm, 51 weeks of the year, and provides funded childcare for eligible three and four-year-olds. Ofsted inspected the nursery in March 2022 and rated its overall effectiveness as Good.

The inspector found that children form close bonds with staff, helping them to feel safe and settled. Staff support children to build confidence and independence, and activities include stories and learning basic sign language. Children enjoy energetic outdoor play, using bicycles and ride-on cars which helps them develop physical control and strength. The report also noted that staff make good use of guidance from external professionals when planning activities to support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities.

Outdoor space
