The Hunny Hive in Kibworth, Leicester, is a childcare facility located in the former Kibworth Medical Centre on Smeeton Road. The nursery is part of the larger Hunny Nurseries group, which aims to provide exceptional childcare across Leicestershire with a home-from-home approach that nurtures each child's individual potential.
The Kibworth setting offers distinct rooms tailored for different age groups: the Baby Bee's Room, Little Bee's Room, Bumble Bee's Room for toddlers, and two Busy Bee's Rooms for pre-school children. In addition to these dedicated spaces, there is a dining room which doubles as an indoor physical activity area, and "The Hive," which caters to before and after-school clubs, as well as a holiday club.
The nursery prioritises creating an engaging environment, featuring a garden area with all-weather astroturf, air conditioning, and CCTV for security. Meals are home-cooked, and the nursery is inclusive, offering support for children with diverse cultural backgrounds and language development needs, further supported by multilingual staff.
They also provide funded places for eligible two, three, and four-year-olds, including support for working families through various funding schemes. The Hunny Hive operates Monday to Friday, from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM.

Our son left Hunny Hive in August, after two amazing years in which he has learned and developed so much. The staff have been so wonderful and caring towards him, which helped him to settle quickly and form several great friendships.
Read on GoogleMy little boy has attended this nursery since June and is absolutely loving it. The staff members are friendly, kind and polite and I have always felt at ease leaving him in their care. They have a great online portal where they update you throughout the day in regards to what your child has been up to, what they have eaten, their sleep etc. I couldn't recommend this setting enough!
Read on GoogleWe have sent our children here and they’ve both had a wonderful experience. The staff are lovely and very child focused. They take the time to get to know each child and make an effort to make them feel welcome and special. They do a variety of activities as well as additional celebrations; Christmas/ Easter/ Halloween/ graduation. The before and after school provision is amazing and really helped my son transition to school. Would 100% recommend this nursery to others.
Read on GoogleMy son has been at this nursery since he was one year old, and I have to say that I am truly grateful for the care the staff provides for my son. They have an organized team. Whether it's informing parents about holiday schedules or communicating about activities, they always convey information through the app or verbally when parents pick up their children. They also provide reports on the children's development. Additionally, everyone is very patient, especially since my child speaks two languages and sometimes struggles to express himself. My son's key person is always patient in teaching him, and after two months, my son can express himself clearly in English. The nursery consistently offers support at every stage. I am very thankful for the care my son receives at the nursery.
Read on GoogleOur first born joined Hunny Hive just over a year ago after moving to the area. As he was already settled in a different nursery, we were worried how he might handle the transition but the staff at Hunny Hive were fab, really welcoming, friendly and quick to get to know our boy. He loved his time in the toddler room and it was so lovely to see his confidence grow as a result of the staff working with him. He’s recently moved into the pre-school room and is continuing to thrive. One of my favourite things about the nursery is how well all staff know the children, there’s some members of staff who we’ve not met but they still know our little one from seeing him around which shows how caring the staff are.
