Inclusion & environment
Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities are well supported. Staff attend specific training and work closely with other professionals and parents to ensure that children's individual learning and development and care needs are met.
Outdoors, toddlers navigate large play equipment as they climb up and down ladders. Pre-school children ride balance bicycles with increasing confidence as they manoeuvre them around obstacles and into 'parking spaces'.
My daughter has been attending this nursery since February, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. From the very beginning, the staff have been incredibly welcoming. The team in the baby room are always polite, kind, and helpful. Like any parent, I was naturally anxious about leaving my child for the first time—but that worry disappeared on day one thanks to the warmth and care shown by the staff. I receive daily photos of my little one, always smiling and clearly enjoying herself, which is so reassuring. She’s developed so much in such a short time, and I truly believe that’s thanks to the amazing, supportive staff. I would highly recommend this nursery to any parent.

Read on GoogleOur son has been at The Hunny Jar for 2 years now and we couldn't be happier. It is a warm welcoming environment and all the staff that work there are so kind. It has a big outdoor area with climbing frame and sandpit. There are always a range of different activities set up each week. The food is healthy and varied. We are always so grateful for the 1:1 handover at drop off and pick up. All the staff are very caring and supportive.
