How they support every child

SEND provision

The manager and staff have experience of working with children with special educational needs and/or disabilities. They understand the importance of working closely with other partners in education and health to create a consistent approach to support for children.

Outdoor space

Children climb steps and crawl through tunnels in the enclosed garden. Staff encourage babies to reach, stand and use their whole bodies as they explore with water and brushes. Children are also encouraged to hold on to railings as they climb steps and to move slowly as they balance on beams in the garden, so that they do not fall.

Our son started at a different nursery which was nice enough, but we moved him to The Learning Tree due to work/location issues, and I’m so glad we did! He absolutely loves it which is the most important thing, he settled in right away, we love the updates and we instantly just felt so at ease with him being there. My daughter has recently started too and is settling in so well. I feel so comfortable and happy leaving my children at The Learning Tree and Helen and the team have gone above and beyond to try and accommodate changing schedules etc. Lucy will often help grab my car seat for me at pick up, and although it’s just a small gesture it’s so helpful when I’m trying to juggle two kids and bags etc. I honestly couldn’t recommend this nursery more!

My eldest son attended the Learning tree and he absolutely loved it and made some really lovely friends. Not only that the team at the TLT really set him up for school. My youngest son has settled in extremely well and the staff are so lovely and definitely treat your children like they are their own. Such a beautiful setting with a team of people who are constantly striving for the nursery to be even better than what it already is.

An amazing pre school and nursery setting. Both my children have thrived with the care and attention of the fantastic staff. Nothing is too much to ask. The outside provision is one of the best in the area and the new pre school building is fabulous. I highly recommend to everyone who has nursery aged children. We love The Learning Tree and will be gutted when our time here as a family is over.

My daughter has attended The Learning Tree for over 3 years and absolutely loves it. The staff are always welcoming, warm and friendly and I’ve never heard a bad word said about it. The outdoor provision is amazing, the learning is high quality and the healthy meals cooked on site are great. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone.

Beautiful setting, with professional, caring, enthusiastic staff. As a parent it can be daunting placing your child into childcare but the whole team are empathetic and put any concerns at ease. If you are considering childcare in the area I would urge you to go and have a look around for yourself. My children have been attending here from 6 months old and they both absolutely love it. They have met some great friends and have been able to enjoy new experiences. The team are seen as part of our extended family and my children really look forward to their days at the learning tree.
