How they support every child

SEND provision

Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities and those facing disadvantage achieve well because support is matched carefully to their needs. They engage more consistently, regulate their behaviour more effectively and access learning alongside others. Leaders identify children's needs early and implement the graduated approach very effectively, involving external professionals where needed and agreeing clear next steps with parents and carers. Leaders review support regularly and change it when children's needs change.

Outdoor space

Leaders prioritise children's health and physical wellbeing. Staff teach children how to keep themselves safe, for example, prompting them to check whether outdoor equipment is wet before using it and discussing how to prevent accidents. Staff enhance children's physical development through structured movement opportunities, including the introduction of hopscotch to develop children's balance and coordination.

EAL / language support

The setting supports children who speak English as an additional language by sharing strategies with other settings, as identified by leaders.

I cannot recommend the little people pre school enough they go above and beyond and I have sent both my children there and will be sending my youngest one there in February they are the absolute best and if it wasn't for the staff I wouldn't have known my oldest boy was autistic (currently 8 years old) they sorted everything out for me and more if it wasn't for them I would be in a different position right now and they have been the best with my daughter who has just left for big school and I don't have any doubt my youngest son isn't going to have the best teachers next year thank you for all your support and hard work 😊
