About this day nursery

The Meadows Nursery Schools, founded by Valerie and Ron Cossey in 1988, prioritises children's enjoyment and wellbeing. With six locations, including Hailsham, they offer a calm and welcoming environment for children, complete with engaging playrooms and gardens.

The nursery emphasises a variety of activities using natural and everyday resources, fostering a love for learning. Valerie Cossey, with a background as a childcare development officer, instilled a passion for childcare and child development, which continues to shape the Meadows' approach.

Her son, Glynn, joined in 2008 and, alongside an experienced team, continues to evolve the learning approaches while upholding the core values of care and early years education. The nursery encourages prospective families to visit in person and explore their approach through their website pages.
