The Nursery in Consett offers a warm and inviting environment for children aged 6 weeks to 4 years. Open 51 weeks a year, Monday to Friday, from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, the nursery provides flexible full-time, part-time, and flexible sessions to accommodate diverse family needs.

The facilities boast bright and spacious playrooms equipped with modern resources, along with a large, secure garden featuring both hard and soft play areas for engaging fun and learning. How they support every child

SEND provision

Staff carry out regular assessments of children's development. They use this information to identify gaps in children's learning, which are swiftly addressed. This helps to ensure that all children are well supported to make progress in their learning and development.

Outdoor space

Children thoroughly enjoy their time in the outdoor area. Staff join them to play hide and seek. Children delight as they count, run and hide. They develop their confidence and coordination as they kick balls, balance on stepping stones and learn new skills, such as pedalling the tricycle.

My son has been going since he was 5 months and I am very pleased with his care, development and sociability. The staff are all amazing, will do anything to help and nothing is too much bother. The whole environment is one of a happy welcoming nursery, My son loves going and I wouldn’t change it for anything. Highly recommend to anyone that wants a safe and professional place for they child with complete piece of mind
