How they support every child
SEND provision
Not all staff implement strategies to meet the individual learning needs of children, in particular when they need additional support, which means at times some children, including children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), may not make the progress of which they are capable. Leaders and staff are not always clear on how the curriculum can be adapted for children with SEND to meet their learning needs. Staff complete assessments and make appropriate referrals and funding arrangements for children with SEND, but not enough is in place to reduce gaps in children's learning in the meantime. Communication strategies, such as signing, are not used consistently, and not all staff make effective use of identified strategies to fully engage children in routines and learning.
Outdoor space
All children have access to a range of activities that support their physical development. For example, older children develop new skills while having a go at an obstacle course in the garden. Staff provide books in all areas of the setting, including the garden, which helps children to enjoy looking at books independently.

The staff member's I have personally dealt with have been expectional, they have taken the time to re assure me as a parent that the old school house is the right place for my daughter to attend. Lindsey has gone above and beyond to answer any questions I have asked, Kirsty has been a big help when we have spoken over the phone. Due to there re-assurance and professionalism, I no this is the right choice for my daughter.

Loved this nursery. Amazing setting, amazing staff, amazing set activities (pony visits, football, etc.) which had an unbelievably positive impact on my daughter. One of the saddest things about leaving the UK was taking her out of TOSH. Well done and thank you to the team.

My Grandson has been at this nursery since March, not even a full month, and I can already see the massive development in his communication. He is so happy there and does a little “happy dance” when ur is collected at the end of the day ❤️ The nursery is spotless, beautiful and very peaceful. Staff are welcoming and thorough with handovers and the app for regular updates is really useful.

Very sad at the state this nursery has become. My daughter consitiently came home freezing cold and I had to put her in thermal clothing to keep her warm. On one occasion she came home crying her eyes out that she couldnt feel her hands and feet because she was so cold. She also came home absolutley filthy on a daily basis. Very poor communication from staff and no improvements seen following multiple complaints. I had very serious safeguarding concerns where I was able to walk straight into the nursery without being noticed by staff leading me to question if children could leave the nursery unnoticed, or unauthorised people enter. This was formally raised with management. Despite raising multiple concerns I personally felt that the standards of care, safeguarding and communication continued to decline, so I made the decision to withdraw my daughter with immediate effect.
