What it's like
When staff open the door to this friendly, family run nursery, the children greet them with huge smiles and high fives. Children show that they have a sense of belonging as they go to their peg to hang up their coats and bags. They take off their shoes and add them to the shoe box, showing great independence.
Funding accepted
Our typical nursery day is from 7.30am – 6.15pm and for families requiring a longer nursery day, we also offer ‘early bird’ sessions from 7am each morning. We accept BACS payments, Voucher schemes (such as Edenred etc) and payments via the government TFC (Tax free childcare) system. Early years funding is for the provision of early years education only and does not cover the cost of essential items such as drinks, meals, hygiene supplies or extracurricular activities and outings. We therefore charge for ‘additional provisions’ which is in place to support with the additional setting costs not included within ‘funded’ hours such as meals, drinks, nappies, creams, hygiene supplies, trips including the running of our PSV licenced minibus and additional staff training to drive this.

Inclusion & environment
The report does not provide specific details about how the setting supports children with special educational needs and disabilities.
Outside, children learn new words that are introduced by staff, such as 'full', 'empty' and 'decant'. Children have regular opportunities to visit parks and woodland with the use of the nursery minibus, where they climb trees, balance on logs, build bridges, jump in puddles and roll down hills, which helps to enhance their physical skills and allows them to manage risk and solve problems.
Such a warm and welcoming family run nursery. Both my girls love it here. Not only have they made great friends, but the weekly trips really enrich their development. Helen and Milly have also been very supportive in accommodating my work hours.
