Inclusion & environment
The staff know the children well. They gather information from parents and use observations of children to identify any gaps in their learning and to help target their support.
Children work together to gather a variety of pots, pans, soft blocks and planks of wood to create an assault course in the garden. When complete, children say, 'It's so cool.' However, staff are not yet deployed well enough to maximise children's learning outdoors, and not all children benefit from interactions with staff during outdoor activities. The inspector observed the quality of education during activities, indoors and outdoors, and assessed the impact on children's learning.
This nursery was highly recommended to me by various friends as I was nearing the end of my maternity leave and in desperate need of childcare. As all parents, I felt SO nervous about leaving my baby with strangers. However, after my first meeting with Richard I knew Tiny Talkers would be home away from home for my bub. The relief that I feel when my little one runs into his nursery class and doesn't even look back to say goodbye is huge! Tiny Talkers ethos, their teachers, everything down to the food is brilliant! Highly highly recommend it!
Read on GoogleI feel like Tiny Talkers have really made the effort to get to know our daughter over the last couple of years and have helped her gain confidence as a "lockdown toddler" who doesn't like to be away from her parents. I find that she always comes out of nursery happy no matter how she was when we dropped her off. I really like the number of walks and short excursions they take and have been impressed by the flexibility and understanding Tiny Talkers have shown to us as parents who work irregular shift patterns, to the point where they sometimes call us before they go out for a walk to check that there is enough time to take her with them! I would highly recommend Tiny Talkers for anybody who prefers their child to be in a relaxed and caring environment.
