Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

Staff use research-led techniques and strategies to ensure that the environment and teaching helps children to flourish. For instance, staff now routinely use Makaton and visual aids to embed learning. They have developed resources, such as a bank of picture clues, which help children who are learning to speak English as an additional language understand key words. This ensures that all children have their needs rapidly identified and effective support is put in place.

Outdoor space

Children confidently explore the outdoor spaces. They look after hens and grow produce in the nursery's allotment. Outdoor spaces are used exceptionally well. Children balance on beams, travel up climbing walls, plant vegetables and harvest fruit from trees.

My son started with rosebank back in May and he absolutly loves it! I had lots of recommenations from the local school parents which put my mind at ease. The team are amazing and always have a smile on their face. You can see how much dedication goes in to making sure they are providing a great early education start for the children and the attention to care is brilliant. My son who is in school attended their sister setting (nature garden) and he loved it so I knew from the get go this is the best nursery for my children. The best part for me is that they have such a brilliant outdoor space alongside some chickens to who are a great addition. Children are always engaged with a range of activites set up for them to go and explore. Amazing setting with a great team makes for a brilliant nursery.

We couldn't be happier with our choice of nursery for our daughters. They settled in so quickly and easily, due to the lovely, nurturing relationships they have with all the staff. They love going to nursery every morning and have made great progress in all areas since they started. Highly recommended!

We’ve been so impressed with the care and support our son has received since joining the nursery. The team have gone above and beyond to help him settle in, creating a nurturing environment where he feels safe, confident, and happy. One of the standout aspects has been their sensitive and proactive approach to managing his eating challenges. They’ve worked closely with us to understand his needs, offering gentle encouragement and tailored strategies that have made a real difference. It’s reassuring to know he’s surrounded by staff who genuinely care and take the time to support his wellbeing. We’re incredibly grateful for the thoughtful communication and the way they’ve partnered with us every step of the way. It’s clear they see each child as an individual, and that ethos shines through in everything they do. The Mutch Family.
