Partnerships with other professionals are meaningful, and leaders work closely with advisers to support the needs of children with SEND. Parents of children with SEND appreciate the extensive support the nursery provides.

Outdoor space

Staff provide meaningful opportunities for children to embrace a healthy, active lifestyle. Leaders are passionate about children learning outdoors. Children enjoy exploring both the indoor and outdoor areas. Outdoors, children follow staff's instructions to walk safely. Even the youngest children enjoy taking part in messy play activities in the garden.

The nursery has robust policies and procedures in place to identify gaps in children's learning and development to inform planning and target support, ensuring children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities, can participate fully.

A Truly Wonderful Childcare Experience We couldn’t be happier with the care, attention, and love our child receives at The Snug. From the very first day, the staff made us feel welcome, reassured, and confident that we had made the right choice. The environment is warm, nurturing, and filled with joy—it’s clear that the team genuinely cares for each and every child. Our little one has blossomed in their care—becoming more confident, curious, and excited to learn every day. The activities are creative, educational, and so thoughtfully planned. As a mum to be, The Snug was highly recommended to me by friends whose children attend this nursery. Looking round nursery's can be quite overwhelming, especially in making that decision of where your child should go. I took a tour recently and I was very impressed by the location, staff and care they put into all ages of children. Needless to say I’ve signed up for a place. Very excited for my little one to be joining The Snug family.

The owners of The Snug have always worked tirelessly to build and foster an environment that is fully focussed on engaging children at one of the most important stages of their development. For well over a decade they have supported young families and their children, with the sole purpose of creating a positive space for them to learn and grow. In a crowded marketplace, where it’s easy to simply offer the most basic service, The Snug are committed to doing things differently and the staff and management team are second to none.
