What it's like
Children progress well in their learning, especially those aged over two, who benefit from a challenging and motivating curriculum. They develop strong communication and language skills through books, stories, and songs, forming friendships and expressing themselves articulately. New children settle quickly due to secure attachments with staff and consistent routines, developing independence for school.
Charges are based on three-hour morning or afternoon sessions, a standard day rate, or a full day from 8:00am to 5:15pm. Government funding for eligible two, three, and four-year-olds is accepted, with a voluntary snack charge applied per session for funded hours unless parents provide their own.

Inclusion & environment
Staff work tirelessly to support and include children with special educational needs and/or disabilities. They use excellent early interventions that include speech and language initiatives. Staff work in a first-class partnership with parents and others. For example, they create 'special' resource boxes and use pictorial aids to help overcome communication barriers.
Children develop their large and small physical skills while creating a balancing obstacle course together and using fine paint brushes. Staff plan exciting activities in the nursery's community garden that help children develop a superb understanding of the world around them. For example, children learn about the wonders of the changing seasons and life cycles, and observe the diverse species of insects and birds that access the feeding station.
We couldn’t be happier with our experience at Villages Preschool! The staff are professional, nurturing, and truly go above and beyond to support each child’s development. Our daughter has grown in confidence, made lovely friendships, and always comes home with a big smile and stories about her day. The environment is warm, creative, and full of fun learning — it’s clear the team genuinely care about the children and their well-being. We’re so thankful to have found such a special place that gives her the best possible start. Thank you to all the staff at Villages Pre-School, you’re amazing!
