About this day nursery

The Wonder Years Day Nursery, established in 1994, is dedicated to nurturing children's development within a loving and supportive environment. The nursery, led by manager Mandy Barker, boasts a team with extensive childcare qualifications and over 130 years of combined experience.

They prioritise the involvement of parents, offering updates throughout the day via the Famly app where parents can track their child's sleep patterns, meals, activities, and even nappy changes. The nursery upholds high educational standards, as reflected in their Ofsted reports from 2013 and 2016.

Beyond local childcare, The Wonder Years Day Nursery is committed to social responsibility through its partnership with WYCE Gambia, supporting children in The Gambia. They invite prospective families to book visits or take a virtual tour of their facilities.

I cannot praise this nursery enough, their communication is excellent and you really get a sense that staff members genuinely care, I feel so reassured that my son is in safe hands whilst I'm at work. My son absolutely loves it here, his confidence has grew so much since joining, I have also noticed that he is hitting different development stages since joining which I am sure has been enhanced by the wonder years, I only wish that I had sent my other children to this nursery. I cannot say enough good things about this nursery and I am so thankful that we chose the Wonder years to start his school journey. Thank you all so much
