The dedicated staff, which includes 15 members with various early years qualifications, provide a nurturing settling-in process, including home visits to get to know children and their families. This approach helps children settle well, feel safe, and form strong attachments with their key person.
The nursery prioritises communication and language development through engaging activities like interactive story times and a varied curriculum that includes learning Spanish and French, dance sessions, and ballet. Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities receive additional support, with a special educational needs coordinator implementing strategies and liaising with external agencies.
The nursery's focus on independence is evident as children learn self-feeding, toileting, and safe use of tools like scissors while also engaging in outdoor play on climbing equipment. Parents are encouraged to be involved in their children's learning, with opportunities to join special events and take books home.

Both of my children have been lucky enough to attend TiddlyWinks Nursery, and I honestly couldn't be more grateful for the care, love, and support they've received here. From the very first day, the staff made us feel welcome and reassured, and over the years they've created such a nurturing, fun, and safe environment for my little ones to grow and thrive. The team go above and beyond - not only supporting our children’s learning and development, but also building their confidence, kindness, and independence. Every member of staff is approachable, caring, and clearly passionate about what they do. Communication with us as parents is excellent, and I always felt completely at ease knowing my children were happy and well cared for. Both of my children have developed so much during their time at Tiddlywinks, and the nursery has given them the best possible start before school. It truly feels like a home-from-home, and I couldn't recommend it highly enough. Thank you to everyone at TiddlyWinks for giving both my children such a wonderful early years experience — we'll always remember it fondly.
