I have had four children over a ten year period go through this nursery; with my youngest however I made the decision to move her to a different setting. 10 years ago this nursery was rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted now it is ‘Good’ I personally think this is a fair reflection of the steady decline in the nursery generally. There was lots of the reasons why I chose to stay with the nursery for so long; the main one being there are some exceptional practitioners that work there. If your child has Julie or Ruth as a key worker then you’ve hit the jackpot. However the leadership team are poor; it is very much run as a business as opposed to a child-centric focus. The nursery owner only contacts you via e-mail or gets the nursery admin to call you and it’s usually to discuss money. It is all very formal and the relationship between the nursery leaders and parents is non-existent. However I’ve given three stars to give a nod to *some* of the wonderful girls that work there. My advice would be to look around before you make a final decision. I wish I had been braver and left the nursery sooner especially now that I see what other settings have to offer.

After many years of my children attending tinkerbells, Friday will be my sons last day before venturing to big school. I honestly couldn’t imagine sending my children anywhere else. From the minute you walk in the door your greeted by the admin ladies who are always smiling, friendly and helpful. The practitioners who work within the rooms are all so reassuring and amazingly talented and the rooms they have created are exceptional, and you know you’ve left your child in safe and capable hands, which is backed up by the wonderful pictures and observations you are sent throughout the day. The outside area is brilliant for young explorers like my little boy and his interests are always encouraged and catered for. We will miss tinkerbells and it’s staff very much, and they have given my children memories and skills that will last a lifetime! If there’s even a little bit of doubt in your mind, go and have a look around and you’ll be blown away!

The most beautiful and incredible learning journey. I simply cannot recommend this nursery enough, our Daughter started a very shy, nonverbal little girl who didn't give eye contact or mix with anyone. I prayed she would gain confidence and just make one friend of her own. With the support from nursery, the Senco and her keyworker she left today ready for school a happy, confident, chatty and very social little girl who has so many friends and has loved every second of her time there. I will be forever grateful to all the staff for giving her the most wonderful experience and memories and also for the support given to me along the way when dealing with health care professionals and specialists in order to gain her extra support for her additional needs.

Really did not like this nursery. My child was in the baby room for a short while. Found staff very disinterested in the children, spent most of their time on i pads and chatting, barely any interaction with children. Was told baby's would be taken out each day in prams/spend time in the garden and they never did (this was over peak summer as well so can't even blame the weather). Staff would send kids home over slightest cough but still charge you for attendance therefore totally unreliable. The manager of the baby room was nice and friendly and my daughters key worker was really good but the others seemed very unmotivated and in the wrong profession. I can't speak for the rest of the nursery as never saw the other rooms. Receptionists where always nice and overall the nursery was tidy with good resources. Only 2 stars from me unfortunately and I wouldn't reccommend it.
