How they support every child

SEND provision

Leaders and senior staff have a good understanding of their role in supporting children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). They work with a range of external agencies to ensure children have the support they need. Staff work hard to help children with SEND make progress from their individual starting points.

Outdoor space

Children have daily access to fresh air and enjoy their outside play times. Staff support them to climb large equipment, ride scooters and throw and kick a ball, which helps to support their physical development and overall well-being. The inspector observed the quality of education being provided, indoors and outdoors, and assessed the impact that this was having on children's learning.

EAL / language support

Staff provide effective support for children who speak English as an additional language, learning key words in children's home languages and teaching these words to other children. This helps children make good progress across the curriculum and in learning language skills, and they also appreciate the diverse world when parents are invited in to read to children in their home languages.

The nursery provided a wonderful balance of fun, play, and learning. My daughter developed her confidence, independence, and social skills, while also being encouraged to explore and discover new things every day. The teachers paid great attention to her individual needs and celebrated her achievements, big and small. The communication with parents was excellent, and I always felt reassured knowing she was in safe, capable hands. The strong foundation she built at nursery has helped her settle into reception so smoothly, and I’ll always be grateful for the role the team played in her early years. I would highly recommend Minis day care to any parent looking for a nurturing, positive, and inspiring start to their child’s education.

There is no other better nursery, than mini day care, l am rest assured my daughter is safe and gets pictures about how she is doing. At the end of the day, l get to know what she ate and what activities she took place in. Amazing nursery, the staff are so welcoming and friendly and are like a 2nd family to my children because of the bonds they have made. My little boy attended from Jan 2020 to July 2023, he loved going, always went in with a smile on his face. The staff always meet his allergy needs and supported his development. My little boy still talks about everyone and loves going to visit them when we pick his sister up. My little girl started in Jan 2023 they helped her settle in with no issues. She loves going in, and waves bye to me with a big smile on her face. They support her development in various ways and give lots of updates of her days at nursery. The nursery offer a extra curriculum activities to allow the lots different opportunities.
