SEND provision

Leaders work closely with parents and carers and external agencies to secure the best outcomes for children. They engage effectively with social care, speech and language therapists and paediatric services to support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities. Staff guide families through processes such as referrals, diagnoses and accessing specialist support, ensuring timely and coordinated help. Leaders use early years pupil premium funding strategically, for example to enhance sensory provision and provide targeted interventions for disadvantaged children.

Outdoor space

Children spend extensive time outdoors, and leaders articulate a strong vision for adventurous play. Older children benefit from rich opportunities to develop their imaginations and language, particularly in the outdoor area known as 'adventure island'. However, staff do not consistently encourage babies to be physically active when they are outside.

Fantastic, helpful staff. All staff gets to know your child very well and are very supportive and caring in their roles in the nursery setting. If there are any issues raised by the parents the staff are very helpful in resolving them. The staff are friendly and welcoming. I would like to say a big big thank you and well done for providing such a safe, friendly, welcoming and happy environment for all children!!!!

My son has been at Tiny World for 2 years now and we all love it. My son is always excited to go, he has fun and is always encouraged to make friends and learn. The staff are friendly and helpful, and quickly create bonds with the children that attend. It's warm and homey and doesn't have the strict academic feel other day nursery have which is what I wanted when I enrolled my then 9 month old.

Would not recommend this nursery to other parents: • Children's food all proccessed, no willingness to make improvements • Slow or no actions taken after issues pointed out • Manager only works 9:15-15:15 and is not flexible to meet parents outside these hours (our daughter was in the nursery for 8 weeks and we never got the chance to meet the manager even when we requested a meeting due to issues not being resolved by deputy managers) • Deputy manager assured us that first child development review is done within first 6 weeks, this was not done on time (received it last week after pointing this out) • The owner is not ineterested in improvements, not very professional, 'old school' management approach • On the bright side, some of the staff are really friendly and helpful and can create bond with your child easily - Eleanor, my daughter's key worker was fantastic

AVOID!!! I would not recommend this nursery. My child attended for around six weeks before I decided to remove him. While some staff were friendly, the overall environment felt dull and uninviting, with little structure to the day. On multiple occasions, I collected my child and found him sitting alone looking upset, with little engagement in activities. There was also an incident where I picked him up with multiple scratches on his face from another child, and I was not informed beforehand. When I asked, I was told staffing levels were low, which was concerning. On another day, I dropped him off, he was upset while settling in. One staff member sat with her arms folded and didn’t acknowledge him while another simply placed a bowl of cereal in front of him and said, “here’s your breakfast,” with no comfort or reassurance offered. I also found the lack of CCTV in certain areas concerning. I moved my son to another nursery where he has settled so so well. Unfortunately, our experience here was not positive.
