Kidz Kaboom is a family-operated nursery and soft play centre established in 2021. Located at the Phoenix Centre in Nottingham, it offers a stimulating environment for children, focusing on their welfare, safety, and security.
The nursery boasts dedicated outdoor areas for nature exploration, a sensory room, a messy play room, and a separate sleep room. A key differentiator is its exclusive access to an on-site soft play centre, designed to enhance children's gross motor skills, spatial awareness, and overall well-being.

The facility provides home-cooked meals prepared by a qualified chef and offers specialised care for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), with practitioners adapting play to suit individual needs.
All staff are highly qualified, experienced, and hold certifications in Paediatric First Aid, Food Hygiene, and Health and Safety, and are DBS checked. Inclusion & environment
Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities are supported well. Staff liaise with other professionals, inviting them into the nursery to see children and to establish targets for staff to support their individual needs.
A new outdoor space offers children opportunities to learn about the natural environment. Children show excitement when they are asked if they want to play outdoors. They lie on swings and look at the light as it shines through leaves and branches on trees.
If you’re wanting to take your small child somewhere to play that isn’t over run with bigger children, this is the perfect place for babies/toddlers. I’ve started bringing my little girl here weekly as it’s the only soft play i’ve been to which doesn’t require me having to chase my 21 month old around for 2 hours! It’s got plenty of toys and encourages independent play, meaning you can catch up with a friend/partner or even work knowing that they are entertained. It’s relatively small, you can keep your eyes on your little one at all times. The play areas and toilets are super clean and well looked after. The staff are lovely and welcoming and always around to help. Overall, a brilliant play zone and I especially love the new role play equipment!
Read on GoogleWe hired kidz kaboom for my daughter’s 3rd birthday party. It was fab! Lovely soft play, role play area, big ball pool, and area for younger children- perfect for this age group. Cafe area and separate party room while still able to see into the soft play to supervise. The staff were lovely,- they set everything up for us and helped direct guests on arrival which made everything stress free for us hosting. Would definitely recommend
Read on GoogleOur daughter has visited here a few times now, this little place is great for young children! Always clean, pleasant helpful staff, & a tasty small food menu. There are various play areas, a colouring/craft room, sensory room, ball pit, baby soft play area, & a larger soft play area.
Read on GoogleFantastic soft play for smaller kids. Much more suited for babies and toddlers. Can let them be independent compared to some soft plays, where you are constantly running around after them. My 2 year old loves it! The soft play, role play area and the toys. The staff are so lovely too. Food and drinks available at a decent price. Really relaxed and friendly. Highly recommended.
