Total Tots Nursery in Morecambe Balmoral, established in 2008, offers quality childcare for children aged from birth to 5 years. Located inside The Venue, conveniently close to the seaside, the nursery operates Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, with a late session available until 6:00 pm upon request.

The nursery is open all year round, closing only on Bank Holidays. The facility is divided into age-specific rooms: the Starfish room for 0-2 year olds, catering to up to 12 children with a 1:3 staff ratio and access to their own outdoor space; the Seahorses room for 2-3 year olds, accommodating up to 15 children with a 1:4 staff ratio and access to a shared large outdoor area; and the Dolphins room, a larger Preschool area for 3-4 year olds, providing education and care for up to 31 children with a 1:8 staff ratio, also with access to a shared large outdoor area.

All rooms benefit from planned and free-choice activities, and external activities like Hartbeeps classes for all age groups and Yogabears for preschool children are also offered. The nursery also supports children with toilet training and personal hygiene through dedicated facilities.

Funding for eligible children from 9 months old is available, and parents can book a tour to explore the nursery and address any questions they may have.

Children quickly settle when they arrive as they are greeted by friendly and caring staff, and they follow routines with ease resulting in good behaviour and developing self-care skills.

Pricing & funding

Fees are structured by age bands for children under two and those aged two to five. The nursery offers full-day rates as well as half-day morning and afternoon sessions. An optional late session extension is available, and non-core charges are applied to government-funded sessions.
