How they support every child

SEND provision

There is strong support for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). Passionate staff work well with specialist professionals to provide activities that develop the communication and language skills of children with SEND. This has helped these children to make good progress. Families of children with SEND feel extremely well supported by staff.

Outdoor space

Leaders place a very strong focus on outdoor play. They recognise the benefits to children of fresh air and exercise, particularly for those children who do not have access to an outdoor space at home. Children approach outdoor physical play with great enthusiasm and navigate natural woodland spaces with curiosity and wonder.

My son began his nursery journey at Mossgate in January. At the time of his admission he was none verbal and had limited understanding. Kerry & the team have been fantastic with him, and often communicating with me ways in which we can expand his knowledge! My son knows the minute his uniform is out, that he is going to nursery, and shows such excitement on those days! I cannot thank the staff enough! They work so hard, and it really does show! I would highly recommend Mossgate Day Nursery to any parent, they really are the best! ⭐️

The best little nursery we have been lucky to go to , both my girls have loved every minute of their journey, it has the best resources for the children and have learnt so much from their time! would definitely recommend to anyone 😊

My little girl has loved coming to this nursery since the day she started. She is always happy and excited to go! The staff are always so friendly, caring and informative and I feel so reassured knowing she is in such caring hands. She has thrived since starting this nursery and I can’t thank them enough for getting her ready for school.

Absolutely amazing nursery. My son only spent 7 months there but I definitely seen a massive difference in his development compared to the other nursery he previously attended. His speech, counting and interaction with other children came on amazing. The staff were always helpful and friendly in pick up and drop off, if I ever wanted to find out more about how my son was getting on they were more than happy to stay and chat and reassure me he was okay and settled. I love the fact it’s all about promoting healthy eating, having fun and learning. Couldn’t recommend them enough, just wish my son went there from the beginning.

My daughter absolutely loves Mossgate Nursery. They have been amazing with her. Helped with her potty training which we was struggling with. The staff are always so friendly and always help with anything you need I never feel worried to ask about anything. Would definitely recommend them. Xx
