Traquinas Childcare, established in 2010 by Carla as a childminding service, swiftly expanded due to increasing demand. By 2013, it transitioned into childcare on domestic premises, bringing on board qualified and experienced practitioners.
The growth continued, leading to the opening of Traquinas Raymond Street in 2017. The nursery champions the unique qualities of each child, viewing them as independent, creative, and full of potential.
They strongly believe in the foundational importance of early years experiences for a child's overall development, setting the stage for future learning across diverse areas. Traquinas is committed to delivering exceptional care and nursery education, meticulously tailored to each child's individual interests and requirements.

Inclusion & environment
Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) and their families receive exemplary support and guidance from staff. Staff have high ambitions for all children and ensure a learning environment that consistently meets their needs. They work closely with parents and other professionals, providing strategies such as private speech and language therapist sessions for timely support.
Children, including babies, regularly attend forest school sessions. The inspector observed the quality of education being provided, indoors and outdoors, and assessed its impact on children's learning.
My daughter started Traquinas when she was 8 months old and has loved every second. She gets so excited when we walk towards the door in the mornings now. I know she is well cared for and looked after every day and all of the staff are extremely helpful & informative. Nothing is too much trouble for anyone and the app they use for parents is so handy to have! I would definitely recommend Traquinas and will be using them again in the future.
Read on GoogleWe couldn’t be happier with this nursery. Our son has Down syndrome, and from day one Skye, and the whole team have been incredibly kind, patient, and supportive. No accommodation has ever been too much, and the level of inclusion is outstanding. Our son loves going each day and has settled in so well, which means everything to us. Communication is excellent, and we always feel listened to and reassured. We’re extremely grateful to Skye, and the team and would highly recommend this nursery to any family.
