This is a great choice for a nursery with very friendly staff. They have a nice selection of toys and activities to keep children entertained and a fairly big garden for children to play in. They take kids on regular trips which is always a plus. My son attended this nursery when he was 3 under government funding. The nursery does offer privately funded children also. They do charge a £5 fee per day for lunch (for government funded children) and £30 per term for consumables. They do keep track of attendance and deduct days your child was absent which is quite helpful considering not all nurseries have that degree of flexibility. The nursery used MyNusery app to provide updates on your child's progress but updates can be sporadic. I understand they had a lot of technical issues which is why the Nursery has moved to Tapestry which is meant to be a much better application. Pictures and observation notes on your child can be very helpful in keeping informed on their development. One feedback I'd have is around their monitoring of lunch invoice payments. They often chase on invoices that have been paid so this is definitely an area for improvement for them. All in all, this is definitely a good choice for a nursery for government funded and privately funded children. The staff are friendly, helpful and the nursery attracts a wide range of kids from all backgrounds which is great for children's development and social skills. It's important to ask about additional fees if you are government funded as the grant doesn't really provide the nursery with much. I'd imagine this is the case with all nurseries in the area.
