Inclusion & environment
Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities make significant progress in their learning and development. Staff collaborate with parents and external agencies to meet each child's individual needs effectively.
Children have many opportunities to engage in physical activity. They enjoy playtime in the garden, where they can explore a variety of sensory experiences, such as mixing water, soil, leaves and wood bark.
I thoroughly enjoyed the tour of the nursery. It is very clean and the staff seem very nurturing as well as professional towards the kids. I was given all the information by Daisy and she ade sure to reassure me in every which way possible. As a first time mum this was very important and I think she could pick that up so she made sure to make sure I felt secure and reassured. Making the decision to register my child here was an easy decision based off of first impressions, the service being provided and the environment. Its a home away from home in which every child will definitely enjoy.
Read on GoogleOur daughter spent a year at Turtles, starting off in Pebbles room then moving onto Ocean Room shortly after her 2nd birthday. During her time at Turtles, she settled in well and thrived. Turtles clearly is a safe place for her and it is so comforting to see the bond she has developed with the team and her friends there. The team takes the time to get to know the children and really try to make it a home away from home. Communication with parents has been excellent. A lot of effort is put into planning different activities for the children, as well as organising day outs when possible - with its prime location, children have been able to visit Covent Garden as well as the national portrait gallery. The team clearly enjoys what they do - the children's smiles at drop off and pick up are true testament to the efforts and hard work of the team. I am so glad that our daughter was able to experience such a warm and caring nursery environment during our time in London. We will miss the team and friends at Turtles dearly.
Read on GoogleWe had our son at Turtles nursery for two months while in London. The staff were all wonderful and helped our son settle into a new nursery with kindness and compassion. The excellent food was homemade and the children participated in educational activities each day. Our son particularly enjoyed the lovely garden. We were confident we were leaving our son in good hands each day!
Read on GoogleOur firstborn went to Turtles and it was absolutely amazing. She was born at the height of the pandemic and we had no family in the country so she didn't see a lot of kids until much later on. When she came to Turtles, she was very quiet but slowly, she blossomed and made friendships --- some of those we cherish and maintain until today. She was well prepared for life in reception too and her primary school teachers also said the same thing. The care that the team gave her was impressive. The whole team kept us posted and we really felt that it was a partnership. We have nothing but fond memories from our time in Turtles and we are forever grateful.
Read on GoogleOur experience in Turtles has been fantastic! The warm and wonderful team make us feel like we were leaving our kids in the care of trusted friends or family. Our eldest son has been attending this nursery for four years, and it's been amazing to see how he's grown and thrived in this environment. Now, with our younger daughter also attending, we couldn't be happier with our decision. The team takes the time to understand each child's unique needs and interests. The space is cozy and inviting, creating a home-like atmosphere that puts both parents and children at ease.
