Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

Leaders and managers have a clear system in place to identify when children may need extra support to make good progress in their development, with a particular focus on their communication and language skills. They work with parents to understand where children are in their development when they first begin.

Outdoor space

Outside, in the garden area that children use, the opportunities are less well planned. Consequently, children are sometimes less focused and engaged in learning during their time outdoors. However, children have daily opportunities to play outdoors.

EAL / language support

Where children speak English as an additional language, appropriate strategies are used to assess and deliver support to help children to develop their skills in English.

If I could rate this place a minus I would. My children attended here from 2022-2024, started off as a lovely place! Never had any reason to complain. Then my children were coming home with unexplained bruises and filled nappies that hadn’t been changed all day and all became clear. Parents considering this nursery, I beg you look at the ofsted report. The company have deleted parents comments from Facebook and there is no accurate way to see how utterly horrific this nursery was. Please don’t subject your children to an early childhood of neglect!!!

Really pleased with this nursery, they did a fantastic job with our little one who struggled to settle at first. He loves going to the nursery now and is always talking about his experiences at the nursery. Well done to the staff who keep us updated on the blossom app. They have a great range of activities for kids to keep them engaged and develop their skills.

My little boy started this nursery not too long ago but it has been the best experience ever. I was dreading sending him to nursery when I returned to work but the whole process has been incredible. All the staff are extremely welcoming for both myself and my partner and our little boy. It’s such a home environment and relaxed that he just settled in straight away and made lots of friends. We always receive regular updates on his day through the app which includes information about what he has eaten, activities and lots of photos as well as naps taken. He always takes part in sensory play, outdoor activity and arts which he loves! He is always happy to go there and the staff always make time to speak to us about his day and about how he has been before we drop him off for the day It’s so flexible. He has his set days but I’m able to add extra days on if there is something going on for him to join in on as they always run themed days and activities. Everything is so personalised to the children and so much thought and effort goes into the planning of the days. There’s loads of parking available and often breakfasts to ‘grab and go’ for the parents one a week. It’s super helpful that the nursery is open from 7am- 7pm as it’s the only one I’ve found in Ipswich that is so it’s a life saver! Would absolutely recommend this nursery, the whole experience for me has been relaxed, calm and organised for me (which is what I needed).

My son went there and started off great however with a change of management, they soon became a nightmare to us. Unexplained bruises on my son, multiple head injuries with no accident forms and the staff “didn’t see” how it happened. Lost clothes. Staff lying to my face. Kids sitting on the floor to eat, instead of tables. No emotional connection with the kids and no emotional support. My child has SEN and they did absolutely NOTHING to help him since the management and the senco changed. Not to say that at one point they had no SENCO so no support at all. They also managed to lost my sons folder that we were supposed to take to new nursery and then a month later they “miraculously” found out and I noticed they didn’t do any activity with him that they were supposed to. We left in July and my son still suffer consequences from this traumatic place. So if you are considering sending your child to this nursery, please DON’T. Look at their Ofsted report. I would say they emotionally abused the kids in that horrendous place. DON’T SEND YOUR CHILD THERE!
