Welbourne Primary Academy Nursery, situated in Peterborough, PE4 6NR, offers a nurturing environment for young children. The nursery features two dedicated rooms: a toddler room and a pre-school room, both well-equipped to support early years development.

To ensure a smooth transition, the nursery provides a free one-hour "stay and play" session for children and parents, followed by a two-hour settling-in session where parents can leave. Home visits are also available upon request.

Children are assigned to a colour group with a key practitioner and have individual colour-coded coat pegs and trays, fostering a sense of belonging. The nursery follows an EYFS-based curriculum, with various areas of the nursery dedicated to different aspects of the curriculum, including literacy, mark-making, and expressive arts.

A strong emphasis is placed on promoting independence and practical life skills. Welbourne Primary Academy Nursery also boasts an outdoor area for children to explore.

Parents can track their child's progress and activities through the online platform, Tapestry, which allows for sharing photos, videos, and termly reports, as well as enabling parents to upload their child's home learning. The nursery also has a "Lending Library" to encourage reading at home.

Pricing & funding

Fees are structured by age bands for children aged under two, two to three, and three to four years, with options for full days, half days, and extended care. Standard fees include all meals, while funded children pay additional meal charges. Invoices are billed monthly in advance.
