West Row Pre-School, established in 2009 as a childcare setting on non-domestic premises, provides a stimulating environment for children aged 2–4 years. 30pm, the pre-school was rated 'Good' by Ofsted following its inspection on 10 January 2023.
Children at West Row Pre-School are described as confident, secure, and highly motivated to learn, showing high levels of concentration and strong communication skills. The curriculum is well-sequenced, focusing on all areas of development, and children consistently make good progress.
The pre-school fosters independence, with children confidently managing snack times themselves. Outdoor learning is a highlight, where children enjoy playing in the outdoor area, practising physical skills, and developing coordination and balance on the climbing frame while taking appropriate risks.
Staff act as positive role models, responding to children's emotional needs and supporting their literacy skills, encouraging an excellent interest in books. Parents consistently report feeling that staff are friendly and approachable, that their children are making good progress, and that communication from the pre-school is clear and informative.
