About this early years setting

Wetherby House Montessori, established in 2012, is dedicated to providing Montessori Early Childhood Education for children aged 9 months to 5 years. With multiple locations across London, including Kensal Rise, the nursery focuses on creating a positive, safe, healthy, and nurturing environment where children can thrive.

The core philosophy centres on making learning joyful and fun, fostering self-confidence, encouraging curiosity, and preparing children for future educational success by instilling positive attitudes. The Montessori method emphasises child-led learning, respect for the individual child, and a prepared environment that allows children to explore and learn independently.

The nursery aims to support each child's social, emotional, creative, and learning development.

At Wetherby House Montessori, we support your child’s social, emotional, creative and learning development while providing a positive, safe, healthy and nurturing place for them to thrive. In early childhood education (9 months - 5 years) our goals are: 1) make learning fun and joyful 2) grow self confident children,3) encourage curiosity, 4) set children up for educational success 5) establish positive "can do" attitudes".

What it's like

Children are cared for in a calm environment and develop a strong sense of ownership and respect for their surroundings, independently tidying and helping each other. Staff use the Montessori teaching method effectively, fostering creativity and fine motor skills, leading to good progress in children's learning.

Pricing & funding

Charges include a non-refundable registration administration fee due upon online application. A deposit is also required to secure a child's place once a space has been confirmed.
