Inclusion & environment
Babies practise their developing walking skills as they toddle around the garden and enjoy sitting with their key person to listen to a story outside. Children enjoy participating in physical play experiences, such as riding bikes around the road track, and learn outdoors in all kinds of weather, shrieking with excitement when it rains. Staff encourage children to play outside throughout the day in one of the enclosed gardens, but opportunities for children who learn better outdoors are not always wide-ranging.
