Inclusion & environment
The manager and staff understand the long-term impact that the pandemic has had on children's development, specifically on their speech and language. Children with additional needs are well supported through appropriate personalised planning methods. Parents of children with special educational needs and/or disabilities feel valued and supported, and staff work with parents and outside agencies to ensure effective strategies are used.
Outdoors, children develop their physical skills as they excitedly fill and empty water containers. Effective risk assessments are in place to ensure that children can play safely inside and outside.
Very disappointed about Whipperley Nursery. My child has been hit for over a year by one of his colleagues. And apart to notify the parent about this situation, there is no other action made. I am frustrated as this is going on and on. This should not happen to any Nursery ! Children are not verified once they have been toilet, they come home with dirty underwear. If they get dirty or wet Childrens are giving other clothes apart to what we provide from home. Sometimes they come home with missing socks.
